Agile Ceremonies Without the Friction
Team Buro was designed to replace the spreadsheets, Miro boards, and 90-minute grooming sessions that drain distributed agile teams. We built a single workspace that hosts both planning poker and retrospectives, with zero-friction onboarding — no accounts, no installs, just a shared link. The product targets engineering and product teams who want ceremonies that run in minutes, not hours, while preserving the structure scrum requires.
Anchor-Free Planning Poker
We engineered the planning poker flow around hidden-card voting with customizable decks — Fibonacci, T-shirt sizes, or custom values — to eliminate the senior-engineer anchoring problem that distorts estimates. Live avatars and typing indicators powered by WebSockets give the session the feel of an in-person huddle, while a synchronized reveal moment ensures every estimate is independent. The reveal flow alone has cut grooming time from 90 minutes to 30 for early teams.
Retrospectives That Actually Persist
The retrospective module uses three-column boards with dot voting and — critically — persistent action-item tracking that carries items forward across sprints, so commitments stop disappearing between cycles. Sessions are searchable and exportable as CSV from a free dashboard, with optional Notion sync. Data is hosted in EU (Frankfurt) or US-East regions, and the mobile-first design means the entire flow works on a phone without a native app.
